We have a peach tree, and every single year, tons of peaches go to waste! This year, however, I have put them to good use by making peach puree for Ella, and honey-sweetened jam! Ella will be 4 months 3 weeks this upcoming Tuesday, so not quite ready for solids, but that day is right around the corner. I froze 24 ounces of peach puree which Ella will enjoy in the somewhat near future.
I plan on making all of Ella's food, so thought I should get familiar with the process now before going back to work. We would like to hold off on introducing solids until the 6 month mark, but might have to do it a bit sooner. Ella is a tall baby (just under 26 inches) and I am thinking she might be getting hungry for food! Over the last couple of weeks, our perfect little sleeper (7 hours a night consistently), has now started waking up every 2-3 hours at night! Could she be hungry for more than just breast milk? We will reassess at the 5 month mark. Until then, sleepless nights await us!
