Here is what she can do:
Kisses! She loves kissing everyone and everything. In the mornings, I bring her into bed around 7, and she rolls around with us as we wake up. She will go over to dadda, lean in, and give him 3 kisses! It is completely voluntary, no asking required. The she usually gives the wall a couple kisses, followed by a kiss or two for mamma. All stuffed animals get kisses and hugs too! Reading time also brings on the kisses. You simply say to her, "Ella, give ________(whatever animal/person is on the page) a kiss", and she leans in a plops a big smooch on the page! She also gives night night kisses to mamma and dadda!
A big waver! She loves waving to everyone, especially at the grocery store! Oh, and when someone strolls by without paying attention to her, she will often wave, and say ha ha, which I believe is her attempt to say hi. At home, she waves at Mac and Bailey, most stuffed animals, and, at bedtime, she gives her piggy puppet and nightlight a final wave before retiring to sleep. She is quite social.
Walking any day now! She did take 3 independent steps last weekend, but hasn't really attempted to do it again since that day. She still enjoys walking with the walker and cruising though.
Stands independently! She loves standing by herself, and then looks around to see if who is watching. She is very proud of this.
Knows lots of word and can say a few too! We like to ask her, "Where is the cat, or where are the doggies", ans she looks for them. I think she also knows, water, Violet, piggy, nightlight, bath, books, and many others! She can say: mamma, dadda, nigh nigh (night night), ca (cat) da (dog) and ha ha (hi). There is a also a lot of babbling of many sounds which we can't quite make out yet
Imitates sounds. Likes to put her finger to her lip and make blblbl sounds!
When asked where things are, such as butterflies, cat, dog, she sharply turns her head to look for them, and often makes a he sound.
Up-Down - loves standing up and then falling down to her bottom over and over!
