3 months: first week

Ella turned 3 months old on June 21st!  She is becoming quite strong and is known to arch her back when feeling upset. There was a lot of back arching this week, as we believe she was experiencing a bit of  a growth spurt, making her a bit cranky.  She had a few cranky days which is very out of character for her, but was back to her happy self by Thursday.  Poor little angel was hungry!

In addition to growing, she has been talking up a storm.  The sounds are  becoming more distinctive and are starting to sound like baby words.  When she looks at you and starts to make her sounds, it's as if she is really trying to tell you something. When I can figure out how to attach a video, I will post our conversations.

Her social nature is also becoming more apparent.  Ella really enjoys being part of the action and enjoys smiling and staring at family, friends, and complete strangers.  She is not shy at all!
