June: Day Trip To Pescadero

So our first big outing for the summer was a trip to Pescadero.  We started our journey at the Pescadero Goat Farm.  The kids enjoyed petting and feeding the goats, as well as gazing at the llamas or alpacas (not sure what they were).  We picked up some wonderfully fresh goat cheese here.  Next, we headed across town to a berry farm with Julie, Will, and Matthew.  The kids loved filling their baskets with fresh, slightly unripe blackberries.  The best parts, however, were the donkey and the real tractors to climb all over!  A long but fun day!
