Grady's Baby

So it is quite rare for Grady to fight bedtime. He usually welcomes his crib with open arms, often stretching his neck towards it if you hold and snuggle him for too long. He loves his sleep!  So tonight, he began crying hysterically within a few minutes of being put to bed. When I went to him, he was babbling uncontrollably, the only word I could make out was baby, which he said about every 5 words. He was also holing what I thought was his baby that he snuggles with every night.  You see, it is hard to tell all the babies apart as they have all been stripped naked by Ella.  If you ask Ella why all the babies are naked she says it is because she needs to give them baths.

So I finally figured out that the baby in his crib, although it looked like 3 other naked babies in our house, was in fact not the baby he snuggled with every night.  I found it really interesting that he could tell the difference and wondered if it was smell that helped him tell the babies apart!   After returning the right baby to the crib, he went to bed within a minute!
