Grady spent 8 nights in the NICU, which seemed like forever, but was finally able to come home two days ago on Thursday, February 2nd at 1 week and 1 day old! We were all so thrilled that he was able to be with us after so many days of feeling separated from him. So far, he is very calm, just sleeping, eating and pooping! He does get a bit fussy during diaper changes and I think it is because the diaper wipes are not warmed up like they were in the NICU. Ella never seemed to care so I ended up returning the 3 diaper warmers I received. Looks like it is time to invest in one!
Ella was so excited to meet Grady! She has been kissing and hugging him every since he came home. Every morning, when she wakes up, we hear her say baby Grady on the monitor. She is going to be such a wonderful big sister! I can't wait to watch them grow up together!
