So yesterday, Ella grabbed at the blinds in her playroom. I told her not to touch the blinds and asked if she needed a time out. It was only a warning, but she took it quite seriously. She proceeded to stand up and walk out of her playroom. As I followed her, I watched her go to the wall in the hallway and sit down against it! She put herself in time out! This is how we do time out; I don't put her in her room. I felt so bad for her, but am also glad to know she knows what time out means.
Grandpa mentioned time out a week or so ago (again, it was just a warning), and Ella walked over to the wall and stood there with her head down. She is learning quickly!
