The end of the school year just wrapped up, and I have been horrible about updating the blog. Ella has changed in so many ways since my last update almost a month ago.
She is starting to assert her independence. She knows what she wants, and if very vocal about it. She will have babbling conversations regarding things she wants you to get for her, and things she is trying to show and point out to you.
One thing that really catches her attention is a diaper not yet placed in the diaper pale. She will make loud ahhhh noises and point at it, to let you know it needs to go in the diaper pale. It really seems to bother her when a diaper is not in its place!
Getting to hold her is a rarity as she is constantly on the move exploring everything around her. She attempts to use her fork at mealtime but still struggles a bit. She can point out about 80% of the words in her First 100 Words Book (this is her favorite book these days).
Her newest favorite thing is running through the sprinklers. She cackles and cackles as the streams of water spray her. She is quite the character and so much fun to play with!
