6 Months 2nd Week Updates

As a  6-1/2 month old, Ella has a limited vocabulary, but is not short on expressive sounds and gestures.  When giggled at, she will often giggle back as if she is sharing an inside joke with you.  Other actions that provoke a giggle would be the tickling of the armpit and thigh, or saying the word ouch.  She cracks up when hearing the word ouch, which all started one day when she gummed me while feeding and I said ouch.  The first time it happened, a huge smile broke out across her face, which caused me to smile and laugh, in turn, causing her to laugh.  I better start using another word to indicate pain, now that ouch is considered so funny and entertaining!

Other developments include waving at daddy this week when he was dropping her off at Grandma Carolyn and Grandpa Art's house, saying  "ha" sometimes" which we believe is her way of saying hi, as she seems to use this expression upon first greetings, and, when asked where Grandpa is, she gives another "ha" like expression, as if she is calling out for him!

Here are some pics from this week!
