2 Month Check-Up

Ella had her 2 month check-up on Friday, May 21st.  This is also her Aunt Jenn's birthday so happy birthday Jenn!  We really like our new pediatrician, Dr. Moreno.  I switched about a month ago.  Ella is doing great, and her growth is right on track.  The first part of the appointment was great, but the second half was pretty upsetting, as it was time for her shots.  They gave her 3 shots in her thighs.  Naturally, she did not enjoy being poked, and proceeded to cry and scream for about 10 minutes.  Once we got in the car, she fell asleep and seemed to have forgotten about the whole thing. Then, about 4 hours later, one of her injection sites swelled up pretty bad, and she cried for about an hour.  Once we gave her the generic baby Tylenol, she calmed down and fell asleep in about 30 minutes.  We can only imagine that the  poor baby was in quite a bit of pain from the swelling!
