Ella's first doctor's appointment was a success. After two weeks of life, she has already gained back her birth weight plus some. She now weighs in at 8 pounds 6.5 ounces. Her height is 20.75 inches, which is actually 1/4 of an inch shorter than birth. The nurse said it's common for a baby to measure slightly shorter due the fact that it is hard to get them to extend their legs completely,. Being that Ella is so strong, this was definitely the case! This confirms that she is definitely getting enough to eat, which wasn't a huge surprise considering how long and frequent our feeding sessions are!
