This was our second annual trip to Yosemite's Housekeeping Camp! We went with the Hortons, Phillips, and VanJedas this year and the trip was a lot of fun and a lot of stress at the same time. Grady's mobility and energy as a 2 year old was non-stop! He also wouldn't nap so days were challenging at times. One night, he woke up at midnight with a night terror (he has never had one before or since), and didn't go back to sleep until 4am. Then, he was awake by 6! We decided to leave a day early!
We did have a great time taking turns cooking, swimming in the river, bike riding, and roasting marshmallows by the fire! Oh, and walking on the big log behind camp! We will return next year with the same group plus the Moores and Nguyens and this time, with the kids a year older, should be much easier!
