February Trip To Tahoe

We had a great visit to Tahoe in February with the Hortons.  Thanks for hosting us at your cabin Brian and Denise! The kids had a blast.  There was literally no snow, but that didn't stop us from having some outdoor fun. 

We tried ice skating which didn't go over too well with either of my kids.  Jake, however, was zipping around the rink like a pro.

The next day, we went to a ski resort that had tubing for the kiddos.  They had a great time going up and down the little hill on their tubes. Even Grady got in on the action.  That afternoon, we decided to try snowboarding with Ella and Jake.  Well, this required standing in line with them for an hour, in which time, Ella fell asleep in my arms (a first).  So, by the time we got the snowboards, Ella was groggy and cranky.  We were able to get as far as putting on her boots and strapping into the snowboard, but she refused to go any further.  She stated that she would never try snowboarding again. We will try again next year!  Jake, just like the ice skating, was a pro!

P.S.  Ella was the only child that would not sit still for Frozen.. All three boys were totally engaged.
