Ella has been really into counting lately. The other night, while reading her First Rhymes book, she said to me, "Mommy, let's count the mice". She pointed at each one and counted all three of them! This evening, she counted 5 clouds , 3 flowers, 2 men, and 2 horses in her Humpty Dumpty book
she also counted all 5 fingers on one hand today!!
She has been able to say her numbers up to 16 for quite awhile, but actually counting things is a new deal for her! Grandma and Grandpa have 16 stairs on their staircase and they have been counting them since Ella was an infant.
