Little Gardener

Ella picked out her first plant the weekend before Easter.  She selected a tiny basil plant, which we planted the day before Easter.  It has now tripled in size thanks to her diligent care.  About two to three times a day she says, "Mommy, I water my plants".  She not only tends to her basil plant, but also cares for the mandarin orange tree and jasmine plant.  I can't wait to plant some veggies this summer; she will love it!
