The Right Side

At 2 months of age, I noticed that Grady was always looking to right, whether he was sleeping, being held, in his car seat, or playing on his mat.  Well, after bringing it up to the doctor, and a visit to the physical therapist, it appears that Grady has left torticocus, which simply means he prefers to right side.  I can't believe it actually has such a formal name!  So we have been attending physical therapy seasons once a week for the past couple of weeks, where we are learning techniques that will help and encourage him to look to the left.

Update:  After 3 seasons, Grady now seems to prefer the left, so we are working on balance now.  We are also working on strengthening his neck muscles but letting him use his neck more.  I was giving him too much neck support, but seems as though he is a big boy and ready to do more lifting on his own.
