Ella 2!

On March 21, Grady turned 8 weeks old and  Ella turned 2! Here are some updates on Ella (the next post will feature Grady)

She is sooo amazingly smart, playful, happy and brave!  It is hard to find her without a smile on her face, or running full force around the house.

• can recite about 3/4ths of the alphabet and counts to ten
• knows all her colors
• knows mommy, daddy, and both sets of of grandma's names!
• has good manners; says please and thank you 
• speaks in paragraphs and carries on conversations
• starting to have strong opinions about her clothing, food, everything!
• likes to tease and play around
• had her blood drawn at her 2 year appt. and didn't shed one tear.  This is after having the needle poked around for about 2 minutes in an attempt to find the vein. 
• plays nicely with her friends and likes to give them big hugs!
• has an AMAZING memory and does not forget things
• Is a fabulous big sister!  She loves Grady, and is now trying to teach him things.  She insists that he watch Barney with her so she can point out everything that is happening! 

She is 36.25 inches (99.5 percentile) and 30.2 pounds (82 percentile)!  If it is true that you double there height at 2 to get an idea of their adult height, then Ella will be around 6 feet tall!
