Halloween Fun

Last year, Ella was a tad too young to enjoy Halloween, but this year, was a different story.  I will say that the trial run of trying on her kitty costume did not go as smoothly as planned.  She screamed and screamed and pulled at the hat pleading with us to remove it!  We think it reminded her of her sleep sack, which meant it was time for bed, and since it was only 6:00, she was not having it.

By Halloween day, she warned to the costume.  Grammy was in town while Grampy was in Turkey for Aunt Nazli's wedding, so Ella, Daddy, Grammy, and Mamu headed over to Grandma and Grandpa's house so we could all enjoy the evening together.  We tried hitting up the neighborhood parade scheduled from 4-6, but by the time we arrived at 5:30 it was over.  Not a big deal, we will try again next year.  After dinner, we took Ella to TWO houses for trick or treating.  She loved the first house so much that she invited herself in, and proceeded to dramatically cry when it finally time to leave.  She couldn't understand why we had to leave all the fun so soon.  The next and last house was the MacNally's  place.  We had a smooth departure the second time around.   Oh, the grand finally house was Grandma and Grandpa's of course!

Although Ella did collect  a bit of candy, she doesn't care for the stuff so we had to help her eat it!
