Ella turned 18 months last week! We had her doctor's appointment and were not surprised to find out that she is in the 99.5 percentile for height! She is one tall little lady and used her lanky body to climb on anything and everything. She loves to climb, tumble, and recently, climbed her way out of her crib. I immediately ordered a toddler bed, but we have yet to put her in it. She hasn't attempted any further escapes so I think the crib will remain her bed for now.
What she is doing these days:
1. She loves to imitate. At night, right before bedtime, I give her big tight hugs with a "rrrr" noise. She now does this back to me, with the sound effect and all!
2. Says her friend Thai's name about 20 times a day.
3. Still loves spinning and has increased her dancing moves. She now dances when you ask her to.
4. Helps put her toys and books away.
5. Likes to try and feed me her food with her fork.
6. New words: apple, Elmo, pee pee, that, ouch, ah oh, whoa, hi, and sings ee i ee i oh!
7. Has 4 molars, 2 on the bottom and 2 on the top! She has a few nights of discomfort
