Little Grown Up

Ella is a little grown up!  She loves communicating and imitating these days!

What she is doing:

1.  Upon leaving the house, she grabs her purse, carries it on her arm like a little lady, and hold her baby doll with the other hand.

2.  Dances to music!  She bobs up and down, bending her knees slowly, while swerving her hips slightly!

3.  Makes connections between objects and activities!
~ When she wants to go on the swing at Grandma and Grandpa's house, she finds Grandpa's hat and
brings it to him, meaning, "I am ready for you to push me on the swing"!
~  When dadda puts the diaper on the ground, it really seems to bother her.  She points and makes a
hissing sound at it, telling dadda she wants him to put it in the diaper pal NOW!  She likes things
           clean!

4.  Loves sitting in her Ella chair.  She places herself in it and flips through her books!  At Grandma and
Grandpa's house, she likes to sit on the first step; it makes her feel like a big girl!

5.  Becoming more "particular" with her food choices.   For some reason, I thought my child was the
"exception", and refused to listen to my friends who kept saying to just wait, she won't always love
broccoli.  Well, looks like they were right. She is now starting to reject many of her past favorites.
Good thing I just bought the book, Deceptively Delicious,  which teaches you how to sneak in the
veggies without the child knowing!  I just made some spinach puree this morning and can't wait to
     sneak it in!
