9 Months Today

Our little baby is 9 months old today!  How can this be?  She is so spunky and full of personality.  Walking and conversation are on the horizon. She is aware of EVERYTHING around her and loves going to Whole Foods and sitting in the shopping cart!  This is a favorite mother-daughter activity for sure! 

Two days ago, on Sunday, 12/19, she said mama.  Although she has been saying dada for quite awhile,  mama was a first. She was sitting on my lap facing me, as I had just finished trimming her nails,  when she looked me straight in the eye, and with perfect clarity, slowly said the magical words I had been waiting to hear!  It was heartwarming!
