It happened exactly a week ago on Friday, 11/12! Ella crawled the length of the couch and back! She has been mobile for quite awhile, scooting backward and rolling herself around; even taken one to three steps forward, but on Friday, she kept moving forward. Way to go Ella!
A week has passed, and she is now crawling at a fairly fast pace. She is still easily entertained just sitting and playing with her toys, so isn't in full crawling exploration mode yet. She will crawl about the living room and likes to head toward the kitchen, but that is about as far as she will go. She is also standing up by herself. She pulls herself up in her crib, and also on our little ottoman cubes in the living room.
Last night, she fell asleep sitting up. I forgot to take a pic, but it was pretty cute.
